Beyond the Report: AI Prompting and Agentic Deployment for the Modern Appraiser

This advanced, hands‑on course guides appraisers beyond traditional reporting workflows and into the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence. Participants will learn how to leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency, improve analytical depth, and streamline communication throughout the appraisal process.

The course introduces practical prompting strategies tailored specifically for valuation professionals—showing how to structure requests, refine outputs, and maintain USPAP‑aligned accuracy. Attendees will also explore agentic deployment: automated, multi‑step AI processes that can assist with research, data organization, narrative development, and administrative tasks.

Designed for appraisers who want to stay ahead of industry change, this session provides real‑world examples, ethical considerations, and best practices for integrating AI safely and effectively into daily operations. By the end, participants will understand how to use AI not as a shortcut, but as a powerful professional tool that supports better analysis, clearer communication, and more efficient workflows.

Chris Hymore, MAI, is a seasoned real estate appraiser with over 10 years of experience in valuation and advisory services. He holds the prestigious MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a Certified General Appraiser in Colorado. Currently, he serves as a Senior Appraiser with American AgCredit, where he focuses on the agricultural community. Previously, he worked as an Appraisal Director and Senior Appraiser at American AgCredit, showcasing his extensive expertise in the field.

Hymore is also involved in various professional organizations, contributing to the appraisal community and enhancing industry standards.
