Pam Herre, President, opened meeting.

Discussion on the following were discussed:

How do appraiser’s dress? Do you dress for success?

Number of comparables/listings in a report. How many do you use?

Bill Burr provided an update to Black Forest and what is happening there since the Black Forest Fire.

Larry provided information on how the El Paso County Assessor’s Office will handle assessment of homes in the burned area of Black Forest.

November USPAP class was announced. More details to follow.

Thanks to Jeff Whaley for setting up this General meeting with Gary Kujawski.

Gary Kujawski was announced. Gary is the HOA Information Officer for the Colorado HOA Information Office and Resource Center.  The Office is organized within the Division of Real Estate under DORA. Gary is a licensed attorney and has practiced law since 1984. Gary has taught numerous real estate classes throughout Colorado to Realtor boards. Gary has also advised and served on many organizations, including HOA Boards, Chambers of Commerce, and Special Business Service Districts. His experience also includes working in real estate and HOA legislation and testimony before Colorado State legislative committees, including compliance issues, as well as being a national and regional speaker on timeshare HOA board member and owner issues.

DORA - Homeowners Associations

Mike Stout announced he was looking for an assistant.
